Yes ! youve guessed it - It Edwards Gardens again in Toronto.
775 & 777 Lawrence Avenue East at Leslie Street.

Edwards Gardens is a former estate garden featuring perennials and roses on the uplands and wildflowers, rhododendrons and an extensive rockery in the valley. On the upper level of the valley there is also a lovely arboretum beside the children's Teaching Garden. Adjacent to Edwards Gardens is Toronto Botanical Garden, a series of 12 contemporary themed gardens spanning nearly four acres. These unique green spaces are designed for Torontonians and visitors to enjoy and engage in the splendour of nature, while learning practical applications for their own gardens. The gardens reflect the scale of a typical urban setting, making it easy for visitors to translate the ideas presented into their own gardens.

Hi David

The black bg really accentuates the colour saturation of the violet flowers in this superb floral macro. Excellent symmetry, sharpness & dof. Tfs!

Hi David,

A very nice floral macro with excellent sharpness and DOF. The somewhat subdued colors are pleasing, and there appears to be some texture to the black background which is a nice touch. TFS

Warm regards,
Werner

Hello David,

I like this very much.
The contrast between the light, beautifully textured petals and the dark b/g is very pleasing.
A good composition, with the stem emerging from the b/r/h corner and moving diagonally across the frame.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)
Congratulations on reaching 4,000 points!

Salam David

At first I thought you were used of flash, but after visiting photo info...Great use of natural light to capture these nice flower against black back
The frame is pretty good and has a luxury theme

Best wishes, Alireza

A very nice composition, with beautyful color.

Congratulation.

David, you did a great job holding the color purple in this photo. Purple and red seem to be the hardest colors in the spectrum to hold in highlight and shadow. Great framing and lighting as well.
