[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
An ice storm has coated everything for miles around. These burr type weeds are cosily cocooned by an icy shield. The liquidity of the ice made for unusually good reflections. A pleasure to be out photographing in a sparkling landscape. Midday sun and cloud.

A new plant species:) As treacherous as all this ice can be, it also creates a wonderous kind of beauty. Excellent composition, detail, and DOF, plus stunning sparkle. Nice work!

I have to say WOW! This is a great shot of a plant through ice. It isn't easy to keep the detail of the weed through the ice. This ice is good and clear.

great close up, the detail is so beautiful. Excellent sharpness and the POV is great. That freezing rain sure gave us a lot of wonderful subjects to photograph. Wonderful colors combination here.

Hello Linda,the burr heads look as if they are encased in glass.The b/g lighting and blurring are lovely, and I like the way that the ice is lit from the back.
Good sharpness too.
