[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
After a long trek along the rugged Bruce Trail along the Niagara Escarpment, hikers take in the view of Georgian Bay.

History:

The Bruce Trail, Canada's oldest and longest footpath, provides the only continuous public access to the magnificent Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. It is one of only fifteen such reserves in all of Canada.

The 725 kilometre long Niagara Escarpment began to take shape over 450 million years ago as the bed of a tropical sea. During the millions of years that followed, the sediments were compressed into rock, mainly magnesium-rich limestone (dolostone) and shale. The progressive action of glaciers, water flows and the elements caused the more resilient dolostone to weather at different rates than the shale, resulting in the very dramatic land forms that we see today: sea stacks, karst formation caves, deep valleys, scenic waterfalls, rugged hills, and perhaps most remarkable, the spectacular cliffs along the Niagara Escarpment itself.

I like this high and low pov shot
The eye going from the cave with its blue waters and shadows to the hickers.
The rocks show great texture, its a really good and unique composition.
Your horizon suffers from barrel distortion but that can be easily fixed and it does not detract the fact that this is a good shot.

A superb spot of nature you show us!
Great colors and a great composition.
I'm afraid the horizon do tilt a bit, but I'm not sure about that. The contrast used is a bit high too my taste; it has its effect on the exposure. But thats a matter of taste.
All together I like the image a lot.
