Looks like our Gannet Colony in Auckland! And what a smell!! Our gannets have arrived back and are now starting to nest, so I must go out to visit them soon.

All in all, there's still a lot of room on the island. Plenty of soil can be seen. The birds are nicely captured though, a very nice DoF.

Hey Luc, it must be dangereous to walk there, not only watching up with a open mouth :)

very lovly photo, with snowwhite bodies, milkybrown heads and black tails..

The line between sea and the sky seems affective..
and also i liked the alone flying bird on the left...

i had to critique this photo because i would like to tell u how those birds are named in Polish: Głuptak - what in English means Silly bird :) I dont know why they are named like this, but its really strange

Very interesting photo Luc. The sharp foreground of birds starts off nicely. Then you have to other layers of blue, one almost a triangle and one a rectangle. Then there are the birds in the air that anchor the image nicely. Great image.

What a wonderful photo. I have been to Gansbaai where the Great white sharks roam the seas, and we had to go past seal island, What a smell. Was this the same?

I only saw them at the zoo and in the quantity that didn't exceed two. :) I am impressed that they let you get so close, and it doesn't even seem that they pay any attention to you! Perhaps, they are used to paparazzi!
