I admire people who leaves to the fullest. I was wondering in DeMaisonneuve parc; second largest in Montréal. They were erecting the stage in preparation of the St-Jean, who is the nationnal holiday of all the "Quebecois" but mostly is the day of all french speaking population. The "St-Jean (baptiste) is dear to the french speaking population. Québec being the only Canadian province, with the french speaking population.
Anyway, that guy came rolling by on his bike. I could miss noticing that beautiful toy he was riding. Like a young boy, proud and enjoying the moment. He look happy, ain't that the most wonderfull thing to be. Happy? But my camera wasn't ready, so I watching turning around and went parking right next to the mobile home, in the background. Then after a minute, I saw him turn around and come back my way, he was looking for a pay phone but I didn't knew it yet..))
So when past by, I shot nice back to him, he stop, he smile and said, that's my toy, then ask me if I knew where he could find a pay phone booth. We looked around and I saw one, and point it out to him. I ask, whould you mind If i take a picture of the bike, he got of his bike and posed right next to it. I already had my camera set.....))) So I shot that one first, then he let me take a few..of the bike alone, sat back on it, say goodbye and good St-Jean and went on his way. May we all keep that child inside alive...all our life. |
