And they followed the light

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is a study about the conversion of a color into black and white using color filters to achieve certain tones.
It was shot into the Beaudry Metro station. Before and after many years when we first found what would become Montreal (1534), that part of the island what more of a wet land, It's soil to these days hold quite a lot of moisture. That explain why they have had probleme with so many infiltration of the underground transport metro systeme walls. Comming out of it's concrete tunnel ceiling, and giving it that kind of cave aspect, cause those infiltration would produce something that looked like long mineral icicles...grown out of this tunnel's ceiling. Now it's all covered ;althought recent, with a shell of metal...alu/stainless aspect.
Shot ambient light, no flash, hand held, so you'll understand the choice of asa needed. |
