[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here's what my spider friend left behind after I took the previous picture.

In the afternoon light, the Web stood out nicely against the dark background.

Of course, I had to do a manual focus, since the camera wouldn't «see» the web.

In PS, I adjusted the levels and took away a few insects.

Tell me what you think!

Mireille,
Repeating shapes, a shallow DOF, beautiful gradient, this photo has it all! I like how you've put the center of the web toward the top right, you've framed this one superbly.
Nice work!
Scott

Very clear exposition of the part of the spider web. Nice clean shot against the green bg. Great pov too. I like this.

Hello Mireille,

You have done well to capture this so sharply.
I love the light shining on the lace-like threads, the repearing patterns and the colour tones changing from blue to green, in the b/g. Perfectly composed.

I watched a spider, through my binoculars, spin a web on a nearby branch. It was utterly fascinating!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hello,
beautiful macro shot, I like the construction of this spider net and the colors of blurred BG
regards
Ryszard

Very nice capture of this web, the background colours are the essense of its success. The gradient from blue through green is terrific!
