Greetings Gilles,
This is not an easy animal to capture with the camera.I guess they are a little more plentiful in your area, than out here in the West Coast. You really have capture his colouring & features with detailed clarity. I love the water dripping from off of his antlers. Good capture of the waters colours,it sure looks clear I can see the stones on its bed.
I also like your choice of positioning it,makes for a strong
composition,he looks like he is posing for you.

Fantastic image! The details are tremendous an d the overall composition is very nice with room for movement within the frame. The water coming down from the antlers adds an extra element to the image that moves it from good to great. TFS

tes photos m'impressionnent toujours par ta precision mais oussi par l'opportunite que toi seul semble etre capable de creer de cette facon...
par curiosite, vers quelle heure as-tu pu surprendre cet elan?
sans doute tot le matin ou en fin de journee par les ombrages... ombrages d'ailleurs qui me font te feliciter sur la maitrise que du as demontre en contre-jour.... du photoshop la-dessus?
