This phone booth is near the retaurant that was ravaged by the flames last night. This is what the phone booth looks like when the thermometer was showing -26C/-14F.

That's a great shot, Stephane! Even as I sit here, virtually on the equator, a shiver runs through me at seeing this! Another shot worth of publication in some weather or human-interest story. This shot is all about the interest factor and the feeling it brings to the observer, I like it a lot.

bonjour stephane
ça jette un froid sur la communication mais j'aime beaucoup

It poors a cold on the call but I like it very much.A chance it was not the shower cubicle

Yeesh ... that's just crazy.

Good photo opportunity - quite an amazing sight and like nothing I have ever seen, outside of my own freezer.

Would have preferred to see this from a more creative angle though, this is a little "obvious" in its treatment, a low POV or a tighter crop or a shot with, at least, consideration to the surroundings would have improved it I think.

Hey Stephane!
Quite an unnatural sight, certainly extreme to say the least. I love the subject matter, and I'm glad that although it gets cold here, it's never that cold!

Great lighting and crop, and the subject matter is wonderful!
Cheers
