[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Blue heron in a marh . I was close and I have watched this bird for about 5 minutes .I have used an unipop to realise this picture . I have choosed to set my camera to F9 to have a better DOF with my 100-400 open at its maximum lenght . Thanks for watching .

Bonjour Daniel,
Ce héron est magnifique!
On retrouve aussi cet oiseau chez moi.
On a même failli en frapper un sur le bord de la route lorsqu'il prenait son envol devant le pare-brise de notre voiture.
Il a un mouvement très lent au décollage.
Mais je dois dire que n'ai jamais pu observer un héron bleu.
Il semble qu'il y en ait à Oka d'après une recherche que je viens tout juste de faire.
Une visite est de mise!
Bravo pour cette prise et cette très belle présentation.

Salut bien Daniel

On remarque bien les détails de ce héron qui gete les lieux. Le rapport des couleurs et contraste est superbe.

Daniel, after perusing some of your gallery I really like this shot of this stoic egret, framing, cropping, and title included. After "trying" several shots of egrets, especially the blue herons, I can really appreciate what patience it must have taken to get this image. I was never so fortunate! He kind of looks really pissed at missing a meal he was waiting for!
