Hi Paul, welcome to TL.
First of all, I'm thrilled to see a shot from Northern Canada .. there aren't many of these on TL!!
It's a great view with the snow covered mountains in the background, and the little symmetrical houses in the town ... love the light on the houses and the mountians. The picture is quite small though - you'll notice in comparison to others shots; remember that your shots can be as big as 800 x 250 pixels, and it's a good idea to show them that size, so that we can get our $ worth, and really see your shot :)
Have a nice weekend.

Good morning, Paul!

First of all, heartiest welcome to the TrekLens! It is said that "The first impression is the last impression", and it may work for your case too!

What a breathtaking view of this landscape with snow-covered peaks in the BG! The houses are just preety with off white colors in the FG are just wonderfully shown, and somehow supporting the colors of the vast area. Your dimensions (given in the note) are helpful for a good idea of scale in the picture. The clouds are adding mood into the picture. The colors are perfect and so are the sharpness and POV. Very well seen!
Thanks for sharing your experinces from northern Canada!

warm greetings from Europe :)

Hi Paul,
Welcome to TL. That is a very nice picture. The houses well aligned, the mountains that seem so cold and desert.
Very good work.
