Looks very dry - this one's scanned well.. Very sharp, nice compo - I may have done a boost of the saturation just of the sky, but still a very nice view..

Great shot Chris. Wow, you can tell it's late summer with that yellow grass on the hillside. Great view in the distance with the forest and the Rockies. Very nice composition.

What a superb POV and composition! I really would like to go for a trek there!
Excellent depth emphasizing these majestic mountains. Very nice contrast with burned grasses in foreground, vivid green conifers in the valley and bluish mountains.

One point of critique, Too sharp imo.
Maybe cos of the scanning you still do ?
Careful with sharpening when grasses or leaves are in the picture.

Hi Chris,

The diagonal line of the path is an asset to the composition. It is well divided, the sky, the mountain and the forest. The point of view leads our eyes toward the mountains in the background which is giving depth to the photo. The intensity of the light has a good effect on the colors. Have a nice day.
