[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the section of Tunnel Mountain Road, where you start walking along the path to the Hoodoos, over on the right, a little ways down the hill. It was cold & windy. That's Tunnel Mountain, hidden behind the trees at right.

"Banff's Tunnel Mountain is best seen from Tunnel Mountain Road, accessed by Banff Rocky Mountain Resort at the extreme east end of Banff Avenue, or by Buffalo Street, along the eastern bank of the Bow River. When starting from the east, the road winds and climbs until you get to a number of hotels, motels, and a campground, with a great view of the Bow River Valley and relative isolation from Banff's hustle and bustle (and also the train horns, heard in the town throughout the night).

There's also a 2.3 kilometre (1.4 mile) hiking trail to the top of the mountain, climbing 300 metres (984 feet). The trail winds around the cliff side (don't get too close) and provides great views to the east."

This is a classic but effective landscape photo, Chris.
The curved lines of the hills and the mountains merge into a well-balanced composition, the intense colours convey a true autumnal atmosphere and the overall sharpness helps us to appreciate this scenery in all its details (even the faraway mountains are almost "palpable"). Excellent scan!
My only (minor) suggestion would be a slight crop (a few millimeters) at the bottom, as to eliminate the small patch of shadow in the lower left corner. A detail though...
TFS & kind regards,
Erik

Hello Chris,

Man, Chris, the color in this is just unbelievably good. I love that warm colored grass and the trees in the FG. Fantastic view and the detail is sharp clear back to the snow capped mountains in the back. Canada must be one of the most beautiful places on earth and you do it full justice. This is awesome. Many thanks and kindest wishes,
Shelly
