I cropped and adjusted levels.
Seconds after I took this photo, a gust of wind caused half the snow on the tipi to slide off. It looks better this way. |

Fantastic image in tough conditions. You exposed the snow perfectly and it a unique scene. Winter is here. TFS
I really like the way the light and the snow have the effect of black-and-white; only the splash of colour in the tipi affirm that it's actually not desaturated.
Like the falling snow-chunks below the tree on the left, too.
This would've been good with a neutral grad filter to darken the sky!

Nice shot Ted.. Well composed and the scene has a B&W effect although I know it's not.
As Rew points out a neutral grad filter for the sky would be good....
