[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi Folks , today I have this image of some fall colors , not exactly my favorite time of year seeing the summer drift away in to winter , but it certainly is a nice colorful time of year :-)

This is an experimental shot which I tried a few takes on , I rather liked this one with its shallow depth of field even though there is so little focused area in it.

pp was a raw to jpeg conversion , focused mostly on color and grain reduction , then I spot fixed a distracting blade of grass. pp done in photoshop elements.

Great colours. I think they complement each other nicely.

I'm not sure about the extreme narrow dof. I think I would prefer a larger dof or no dof at all as in everything out of focus. I think the few leaves in focus draws the attention away from the overall image.

For a narrow DOF , this is indeed a narrow DOF. But I like the effect. Very artistic pallet of colors. We really have to explore the whole scene to find the sharp leaves. but those are spot on.

Hello Art,it feels like looking into a rainbow, there is such a lovely range of colours.There are just enough of the leaves in focus to make the composition work.
I like this a lot;it really does have an autumn feel about it.
