[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden. I have shot this place before, but I decided to return for a practice run before the fall colors really hit. So now I have a plan and equipment list for the shoot including timing and locations. I can hardly wait for those brilliant colors like I saw last year. In the meantime, here are a couple creative shots I thought of today...

PP: A contrast adjustment (reduction in highlights), some sensor dust cloned out (I had beeter clean my sensor before then), a resize, frame, and USM.

Hello Mike. The stone path is well placed in this image. It lead the eyes into the background very nicely. Good exposure and colours. This is a place I have not visited yet. I heard the gardens are truly beautiful. One of these days I will have to drive here and see this place. Thanks Mike.

Hi Mike,

excellent composition with very good fg lead in making one's eyesight slide easily into the picture. Very good details, beautiful, well saturated colours. I like the balance between areas the grass and the sky - makes the photo very "stable". Slight overburn on the house's walls are an issue. Otherwise lovely work. tfs

Hello Mike,
A pleasant composition and a great light!
Wonderful colours and a great lead-in to the foreign architecture...
And again, the autumn light is wonderful, topped by this great sky!
Greetings,
Pablo -

a nice work.

Hi Mike,

Indeed this is well composed. Lead-in was well employed. The colors are likewise great. Very well done and TFS.

Hi Mike,
Talk about creating a strong leadline. The stepping stones really draw the eye toward the building perfectly. The details and lighting in the photo are awesome. I especially like how the sun illuminated the house and gave it this stong contrast with the darker grass and dark blue sky. Personally I would have crope the bottom stone.
TFS,
Niek

Different pov from the usual view, nice colors and lighting. So you think you can top your own fall pictures of last year? The collection would make a good book (for their gift shop?)
Cheers
Otto
