Gadverdarrie !! This is not a nice scenery. I don't like both of the animals, and in combination it is even worse !!
Very unusual image.
Good seen and good captured. Sharpness and colors are very good.
greetings,
Joop!

Hi Christian,
brrrr - what a moment - but I guess the ants were happy, not so the wasp.
I like shots of insects, always amazing to see these small creatures so big, thanks

Hi Christan,
Great macro with excellent colors and sharpness and well framed. These ants are really strong. Well done.

That ant have a terrible appetite! She could win a hamburger eater contest! We see how cruel is the nature. I saw the same situation with a wasp attack a grasshopper! The scene is dry and cruel but sharp and precise... It even make me realize a detail. It could sound weird observation. But you know how i enjoy to keep attention to details... Do you realize there is no hemoragic sign... A human would do a "juicy" scene with red under and in quantity...
Here nothing... Like if the blood was less liquid... A goo perhaps? Ho no... I read the note and realize my second option is true. She drag it... :D
A lot of realizations finally!
Excellent macro!

Great macro capture Christan, fantastic detail and spot-on metering. It takes a little while to really see what's going on, so maybe a few different P'sOV would have created a stronger shot; but it's great work!
The frame/border works really well - i.e. I didn't even notice it, but the photo looks great inside it. (Perfect!)

Lunch time! I could spend hours watching ants at work. They are really quite marvelous and this guy in the feats they perform. Nice tight macro.

Hi Christan, wow, this is a great capture indeed! Those ants are so strong!
Very nice and colourful and sharp. I like also the colourful grain of sands.
Very well done! Take care, Yan :)
Ps: many thx for your great comment on "Joffre Lakes, Upper Lake of the 3 Lakes" :) I am very pleased that you like it!

cool, this one is even better than the one on TN -
there is more "blood". looks like the ant had a little wasp-snack inbetween.*g*
nice detailed macro-shot, i just have the feeling it should be rotated 90° to the right as the ground looks more like a wall here.
well seen & captured, thor.
