[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I am in denial about winter, and have yet to get any postable shots this season, so here is a view from my neighborhood from last february - heck, it seems like just yesterday. It's like it is continuously winter around here, with a few days of summer inbetween.....

Oh yeah, some pp work, mostly with filters and gradient - I don't remember the details anymore.

Hi Otto,
This is a stunning winter photo! What gorgeous colors!
Hard to believe you made some PP work! The tones are looking so naturally! Bravo! Annie

Weather too cold to get out in Otto? Lovely light you achieved in this, nicely composed, good colour and fine detail. TFS,
David

Many thanks for your comment on ‘Suzie’ and ‘Christmas 2007’

Beautiful
Congratulations
LUc

hi otto, not a bad shot, good curves and winter feel, i guess your use to snow, we get rain on the good old wet coast, it does snow a few days a year but it usually turns to rain and becomes a slushy mess, however we get all 4 seasons unlike others on the globe!
well done, thanks scott

wonderful capture otto.. frozen plant is full of details.. light is excellent!! colours are incredible!! i love its atmosfere!! wonderful!! bravo!
ciao Marco

Beautiful light and excellent work with the gradients here Otto, the deep saturation is unusual for a winter shot, so it stands out from the crowd.
Nice work

Hi Otto,
I like the close up of this snowed bush, the soft pink glow makes it an attractive picture. The composition is nice too and also the presentation in the narrow blue white frame.
Hans

:) Later...

Well done.
Happy new year !
Best regards,
Rob

Hi dear Otto, I can imagine the hard winters you must have in Alberta.
This is very nice with the tree curving over the lawn.

Well done!

You created it very well with an additional PP work too

Hello Otto,
This is what my world looks like today.. Kids home from school, trees all bent over just waiting to snap like little twigs...

I like your PP work here.. its so hard to photograph the snow!

Nice soft colours and textures. It is a bit grainy and I wonder if that was before or after PP. TFS. K2

Hello Otto,
The frozen trees are really looking good here!
I like the play of light6 and the fine details in the naked branches...
A well composed presentation, but frankly I'm happy winter is over..!
