[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Okay now this was taken before my trip to Vienna with my little Olympus but had to show it off Not even Otto believed this was from me. I am truly terrified of two kinds of bugs now one is spiders and the other is wasps. I was sitting outside in my front yard taking flower pics, when I heard the horrific, terrifying sound of a wasp next to me. I looked over my shoulder to see this guy buzzing around a bush. at first jumped up and ran.... thought for a second then went back in just one picture just one and I'm gone. Here it is conquered my fears for a split second just long enough to take two quick shots then inside I went.
If you are afraid of anything you know the heartstopping effect being near to one has and the breaths needed to regain self. so I am proud of this shot, and even prouder that it is not blurry.

Hi Christan, I am allergic to bee stings but it doesn't stop me from chasing them with my camera, never been atacked by a wasp so I can't tell you about that :). An excellent macro, good colour and fine detail,

I like the strong light you captured for this superb macro to show the sharp details of the bee and flower. This is a good shot for Olympus 710 with such good macro view.
