[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Okay thought what the heck lets do it. Went outside and played with the timer button for a self portrait. Was going for something that would show my new haircut but liked this one more. I will pit one that shows my shorter do in the workshop. Was time for a change and had my hairdresser chop about 9 inches off!! I have had mostly good comments, just dont ask Otto he hates the new look ;)
well here I am enjoy!

Oh hey girl! Now I can see the girl that keeps killing me at Bejeweled! HAHA! Nice shot Christan! I like the way the light is on your face! Hey, we all just gotta dress we want to and let the men-folk complain! HAHA! Your hair looks great in the sunlight!

Well both shots are beautiful. You really do have a charm and charisma in photographs, it's a combination of those big brown eyes, high cheekbones and the shape of your lips. Your hair looks great in both, too.

Now - I'm gonna be picky about the light. I don't think it was the best choice to have the sunlight falling across your face, like that, personally I find the strong shadows, particularly that cast across the bridge of your nose, work against the image.

My recommendation for this shot would be to shoot against the sun. i.e. The camera is facing the sun, you are blocking it - so that the sun creates a halo/highlight in your hair. For light you have the choice of flash, as you used here (not ideal) or position a reflector (aluminium kitchen-wrap will do) so that the sunlight is reflected back at your face as a fill-light, and you can get some amazingly cool results.

Great experiment and I have to say you have a breathtaking model to work with!!
