Wow, what a lovely macrp capture of the colors from autumn! I like the intense colors of the leaves and indeed it is one of the powerful contribution to today's theme.

I like the sharpness and POV in the shot. The DOF is very well managed.

I searched this kind of view this autumn, but the rain has ruined my efforts to find it! So, I appreciate a lot your photo!
The red leaves against the black BG stand out! The textures and nerves are sharp and clear.
I like also the minimalist composition with the fine green stems behind your subject. This is graphical and adds an artistic touch at your image.

Gee I love the contrast of colours in this one.
It catch my eyes the moment I look at it. Real nice medium contrast, no harsh shadow apparent, but yet we can feel the direction of the light. Those fushia leaves are "real" intense alright.

Good exposure, nice shadow area, and well controled highlights.

I also like the composition and use of space. Well done Trudy.

A good entry in the Friday Intense Colour Theme. Looks similar to Japanese red maple, which also grows well in Korea. Excellent colour, graphism, & framing. Tfs!

Oh Trudy, how pretty these leaves are, and I also see seeds too. Your fall colours are so much more vibrant than what we get here in NZ.
Nicely composed, especially against the dark fence in the BG. The coloours just seem to jump out at us

So glad that you found this in your archive Trudy. Indeed the foliage colors are most intense ruby red like and it shows very well in the chosen vertical format. It is the peak of autumn in D.C. and I'm itching to go out and take photos. However, it has been raining the last few days and my cats are demanding more attention than usual. Awesome shot! Such an intense blood red colour - Really seems to stand out against the dark tones of the fence behind. I quite like the way the leaves enter the frame on an angle from the bottom left corner - Certainly worth dipping into the archives for :).
