[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Last summer while in Southern Saskatchewan,I came across an area that was really parched & thought I could use these great lines & shadows for a future image.
I had forgot all about it until I started to put my vacation images in to some sort of order,it can take that long. I have always thought, that no matter how bad things can get, there is always survivors.I guess a thistle may have been a better choice for the flower, but I did not have one handy, so used this one instead,I liked how it's petals looked like a ray of sunshine.

Hi Ronald,
very impressive work! Nice concept of the survival of the beautiful and delicate flower in the extreme condition. I like the light and the patterns formed on the dried earth.

TFS, abhijit.

Hi Ron, nice to see that you were in Sask. Did you make it up to Saskatoon?
Great eye to see this parched, cracked soil, and great idea to shoot it with the flower. Nicely composed shot. I like the scattered grass clippings too .. looks like someone must have mowed some grass near to there.
Great job
Trudy

Very nice photos. Nice colors details a nd composition.
regards Zoran

Hi Ron.
Very cool shot, the details are excellent! Looks like something from the prehistoric times, it's amazing how life can grow and adapt to any environment. Nice balanced exposure, the contrast within the cracks really make it stand out. Very original capture, well seen.

TFS,
Scott.
