Hi Paula - great detail, textures and tones. Controlling all that in a white flower is pretty impressive stuff! The tight crop works very well also - I think this is a great shot, frame it!

What a magnificent clean, sharp, creamy colored Dahlia. It looks almost eatable. Well, maybe not. In any case I like the angle from which the shot was taken.

Indeed what to add to Kilted's critique? A perfect picture showning fine white tones details. The white frame with the black line is superb. Stunning sharpness and brightness without OE which is a chalange for such a bright white flower at all.
