You have been to Canada.

Yes a lovely place, we also visited here in October. Did see water-planes (is that the correct word?) landing in the harbour all the time.
Indeed autumn colours make Vancouver Island even more beautiful.

Pretty colorful for RAW! How beautiful! Not easy to shoot into the sun, but I like how the leaves are backlit! Hope you are having a great time in North America! Did you make it to El Paso??

Welcome back Chris. It seems you and I were there around the same time. I like your composition here with the path across and the partial tree. I do like the backlighting on the tree. I struggled with shots of the harbour to know how to handle all the light from the water and sky when it is so sunny. This was a great way to do it.

Hi Cris.
I almost start thinking if my monitor is too sharp.!
I see too many too sharp pictures here on TL and it seems I'm the only one who is mention that in the comments.
For me this is much too sharp.
Especially with leaves in it, it easy looks overdone.

This works quite well, I like the rawness and realness of the shot.

There is some distortion evident I guess in the vertical elements - the near tree doesn't seem aligned with the distant mooring posts, I presume that's a result of the wide lens and your aspect.

Nice work, an enjoyable shot.
