Due to problems with my back,I have been unable to get out & capture new images.I had started going through past images to put the best on to a new CD & thought this one worth posting.I liked how the young cadets leg shadows, seen through the sails ,looked as though the cadets were doing a jig.Taken as this Russian training three master sailed into Victoria harbour BC Canada with all the cadets on the rigging waving a greeting to the crowds lined along the inner harbour.

Bonjour Ronald,
How I like this view!
I especially like to see all young cadets in the masts!
Excellent use of light and shadows. Good graphical effect. The contrast with light and lightly muted tone is very well rendered! Bravo! Annie

NB/ Take care with your back!

Hello,

Fantastique cette vue su ces voiles avec les marins a chaque étage, quel beau graphisme, on voit leurs jambes au traver des voiles, suberbe détail.

bravo et amitié

Nicou

it's quite amazing to see how many people this boat needs to sail ! interesting shot
jc

Excellent shot Ron. I would bet money that my brother was there also. He lives in Victoria and is absolutely crazy about anything of this sort.
I love all the horizontal sails(?) and the sailors up there waving. Must be quite a sight to see.
Hope you're feeling better.
Trudy

Hello Ronald,
What a scene! Just the stall masted ship alone is a great honor to witness, but to have all the personnel clinging to the rigging is a major plus in this excellent image. all the way to the crows nest we can see the Cadets, a fine capture...
Have A Great Week,
Steve

Hi Ronald,
Well done, I like the contrast that the flags bring to the shot, the silhouetted sailors are great
cheers

Good morning Ron
Being there at the right time, this is fanatastic.
Getting the crew to pose with the sails of the tall ships, just how lucky can you get.
Dot
I sympathize with you my friend, I am on pain killers for my back, I do hope your doctor prescribed some to relieve a bit of the aches and pain, take care and don't overdo it.
