[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This particular lagoon on Vancouver Island, near the city of Victoria,is well known by the locals for it's families of swans ,herons, eagles & Canada geese. The day I visted there were just the swans & geese. The swan did not mind the geese as long as they kept a certain distance away from them, this particular swan was not to pleased with the goose to it's right,it thought it was getting a little too close for the swans comfort,& I of course missed it warning the goose off with a good peck.CP used

Wonderful light.very nice compasition.

Hi Ron,
Nice HDR, the 'texture' of these geese really suits the process. Would have been quite easy to overexpose otherwise. Good composition for each of them, sensible choice with the vertical crop too. I don't blame you for using quite a long focal length, they can certainly get aggressive when you get too close, lol. The colours have come through well, looks nice and sharp too. I like it.

TFS,
Scott.

This is really cute, they are all trying to make themselves beautiful for your camera. I could sit and watch these for hours, very relaxing and entertaining. Excellent detail and pov. TFS

hi, Ronald. I do like the composition, sharpness and the subtle transition of colors. Thier necks are so flexible and they use it to clean themselves. Cheers.

Hi Ronald,
Stunning clarity and sharpness on colors!
I like your composition with these three birds, the white swan making a nice counterpoint at the two geese.
Beautifully done! Annie

Hello Ron, A strong Triad with this image of the two geese and one Swan. i like the detail and the anger admitted by the Swan as it turns toward the goose. You can almost tell what it is thinking just before it attacks, unlike a reptile and those pesky rattlers, aye?
Steve

Hi Ron
Good detail in the birds. White birds are always a challenge. They are well placed in the scene and you managed to get cathchlight in their eyes.
