Remember that old song from the fifties -- "Catch a fallen star and put it in your pocket, save it for a rainy day".
This one is for the Hunt, Single light source catagory. I spent over two hours last night playing with a small flashlight at 8 second exposure, the longest my camera can do. I had to hold my breath for each frame, and even then many of the images turned out blurry from slight movements. This was my favorite because of the way the light turned into a star.
Post processing: Neat Image to get rid of noise from the low light |

a very interesting idea and photo...i really like the starburst you have created...it appears to be a perfect six sided one...very beautiful...i have a thing about stars which especially attracted me to this photo...i was going to make a comment about the sharpness of the photo but considering this was an 8 second exposure i would say you did pretty good...nice capture...peace***
like a real falling star or like a jesus heart.thank you for sharing with all of us.

8 seconds?! :O What a great photo. it must have been very hard to get a great shot like this, it reminds me of an old victorian print. and a great Self portrait! :D
