This is for the scavenger Hunt: Letter A in your area.
It is the main entrance of the ADF Group company located in Terrebonne. The company is specialized in megastructural steel work, with realisation all over the world : they fabricated and assembled the steel structures of many airports (Toronto, Miami, Boston, Chicago, Tampa, Algeria) stadiums (Baltimore Ravens, Detroit Lions) convention center and bridges.
The arch was build handmaden by the founder of the company, Jacques Paschini. At the beginning, in 1956, his company was a blacksmith shop producing ornemental steel for stairs and fences... In 1980, when his three childrens took over, they oriented the family shop into a multimillions dollars worldwide company, highly specialized for big projects.
If you look at the details in the arch, you will see two silver dragons. It is the emblem of the company, which was originally called Au Dragon Forgé (later becoming ADF). The lamps are two world globe, and you will see an anvil and steel sticks on top. Note that the fence is also a realisation of the founder. Look at him and his story : ADF Group

Voici mon entrée pour le Scavenger Hunt: la lettre A dans votre environnement.
Il s'agit de l'entrée principale de l'entreprise Groupe ADF à Terrebonne. La compagnie est spécialisée dans la réalisation de mégastructures d'acier à travers le monde: ils ont fabriqué et assemblé les structures de plusieurs aéroports Toronto, Miami, Boston, Chicago, Tampa, Algeria) stades (Baltimore Ravens, Detroit Lions) centres de congrès et ponts.
L'arche a été fabriqué à la main par le fondateur de la compagnie, Jacques Paschini, un forgeron qui a lancé l'entreprise en 1956. À cette époque, sa petite entreprise fabriquait des ornements de fer forgé pour les clôtures et les escaliers. En 1980, quand ses trois enfants ont pris l'enteprise, ils l'ont ré-orienté dans les mégastructures d'acier et en ont fait une compagnie côté en Bourse avec un chiffre d'affaires de plusieurs millions de $ annuellement.
Si on regarde le détail de l'arche, on y voit deux dragons argentés, qui sont l'emblème de la compagnie. À sa fondation, elle s'appelait Au Dragon Forgé (maintenant Groupe ADF). On y voit aussi deux globes terrestres (ce sont des lampes) qui représente la percée de l'entreprise au niveau mondial, une enclume et des tiges d'acier.
