The Tracks
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| This was taken on a day trio from Cornwall, Ontario to Ottawa-Hull by bus, and from there by old steam train to Wakefield, Quebec. It was a lovely journey along the banks of the Gatineau River with the forests of Gatineau surrounding us. We stopped at the small town of Wakefield for two hours and walked along the riverside and visited small stores and boutiques there. The track runs alongside the river, and the train only makes a daily journey so it was quite safe to walk along the track. |

I once read in a photographic article that if ever a train track is photographed, the tracks should exit diagonally at each corner of the composition ... You did a great job Joan.
There seems to be a 'blue' tinge to the photo, especially around the trees on the left. Other than that, I like it.
