Time 06:16hrs.

Minutes after take-off we are climbing to our cruising altitude of about 11000 meters. We just left the clouds below us, as the sun is rising above them.

We are heading South to pass over New York in about 45 minutes after this photos was taken.

We can see the wing is still wet after the heavy showers from ground level....

The sun is still low over the horizon, so it is more looking like a light bulb (*_*)

Have a great day!
Robert

hi Robert, another nice composition. Nicely framed too

Hi Robert, this is truly a beautiful image. Very original, your take on this !

Marleen

Bonjour Robert, quelle magnifique photo!

Yan

Oh, absolutely prfect shot Robert. Nothing to say, everything perfect...

Hi Robert,
Excellent photo with a beautiful soft touch to it. I like the strong lines of the wing and the blue reflection on it it show us that the surface of the wing isn't totally flat. Great job from keeping the sun from overexposing the photo. I like the frame.

Niek

Hi Robert,

Excellent shot and well done on the composition. Beautiful work.

Hi Robert,
great shot, I couldn't work it out until I opened it.
Like the composition and clarity, my plane window shots never come out this good / clear.
best wishes
Rob

SPecial comme visuel! On dirais que l'aile est luisante d'humidité...
Un passage dans les nuages peut-être! VIsuel différent. J'aime l'angle!

Hi Rob,

Looks like you're out of the rain and heading for sunny Cuba! :)
Excellent POV and perfectly timed with the sun partially visible!
Very well done!

Salut Robert

I like the tight framing on the aircraft wing. The partial globe of the sun is a superb inclusion. Grand travail!

Beautiful shot Robert.Simple but effective. Also like your frame.
Kind regards,
Patricia.

This is one of "those" photos. At a glance I think, 'I could have taken that.' But - not a chance! I'm amazed at your ability to compose such a beautiful shot, to get the exposure so perfect, through the window of an ascending plane. Not just technically impressive: a beautiful photograph, too. And great work on the frame. Your work is an inspiration - thank you.

Beautiful composition and very good oportunity to see this angle in that moment, really a nice work. Best regards Robert!

Nice tight composition and very lovely scene captured. The sky has lovely pastel colors and the light and shadow of the wings very impressive.

Hi Robert,

Nice to see you back my friend, I'm glad to hear you had a nice time too.
A lovely dawn you are showing us here with the sun trapped in a wonderful position, and about to throw its light and heat across the land.

Excellent capture

Almost too much zoom I would have liked to see more of the wing more of the sun. But that is the plane nut in me talking

Such a lovely capture onboard. Point of view in this picture is very important to notice. Half sun emerging from the wing fin is interesting.

Thanks for sharing a flying photo.

Great composition Robert. Good image. Regards Mark

Thats what a mean: bonus from the last visit. Great exposure of the winglet of this Airbus. Excellent how the upperwing skin shouws so great dark bue (it's not painted blue I suppose, but due the lightfall showing as DB)One other nice little detail the reflection of the sun in the wing strobe light lens cap!
