Yet another fall, between all the eating and sleeping I had a chance to get out and relax in the fall colors

WOW...this is beautiful. the color is awesome.

I like the perspective and colors here, though the sky (what we can see of it) is washed out. Beautiful nonetheless.

Beautiful capture Derek, the colours, and composition are all great.

This must be a "Fairy" tree. The colours are simply splendid and the comp is perfect. Simply marvellous.

Great low angle which really shows the tree's magnificance. Excellent focus and colours.

Composizione interessantissima!

This is a wonderful shot. I would have like to see the same shot but without the sun directly above ... you know what I mean ? With a deep blue sky instead of white spots ? But don't get me wrong Derek, you picture is superb but that what comes into my mind when I look at it.

I love this Derek, because when I was in photography school I always used to get in trouble for shooting up trees like this (instructors just didn't undestand the beauty of POV I guess :) I think it's a very interesting perspective because people walk by trees everyday, but rarely look up and see the beauty from the roots. I have seen lots of beautiful fall photos from Canada, must be nice to see this sight all the time :) It has only begun getting cold here in Virginia Beach. But that is fine by me, I'll hold onto the warmth as long as I can! I will settle with getting to look at these cool weather scenes from places like Canada here on TL... Thanks for sharing!

What a tree!
Yes the colors are beautiful.
But the most impactful element in this photo for me, is the viewing angle and therefore the radiating braches!
This is very creative, Derek!
I'd consider burning the sky a little. It is the only thing I'd like to be different in this photo.

Beautiful. I love the tree texture and the vivid leaf colors. Very good idea to take from this veiw, adds bulk, feeling and interest! I feel like this tree has mighty arms holding up the world of leaves.

Very nice, That's also colors of autumn. Well done !

this is amazing! the colours and the tree textures...definately a nice composition and angle. my compliments..:)

The steep angle and autumn red really work together.

Suberb saturation. The white sky lends some nice lighting here! Well done.

Great image Derek. Excelent balance of colors and contrast. I love the upward view, it helps add drama to the composition. Well seen.

Absolutely love the leaf colors and the way it brings out the tones in the bark. What a beautiful tree.
