This is a picture of Moraine Lake not far from Lake Louise in Canada. The water really is that colour.

Wikipedia has this to say about Moraine Lake
Moraine Lake is a glacially fed lake in Banff National Park, 14km outide the Village of Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada. It is situated in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, at an elevation of approximately 6183 ft (1884 m).

The lake, being glacially fed, does not reach its crest until mid to late June. However, when it is full, it is a beautiful shade of blue. The lake gets its color from the Refraction of light off the Rock_flour deposited in the lake on a continual basis.

The area around the lake has several walking/hiking trails, which are from time to time, restricted because of grizzly bear activity.

The water looks like that of tropical Island. Stunning colour. I like the way the trees frame the photo. Beautiful.

Very beatiful part of nature. You make a good composition. congratulations.

Hi Karan,
Spectacular view of these snowy mountains and beautiful lake. The trees in the foreground service as a nice frame for the photo.

Awesome photo of what is clearly a beautiful place. I like the use of the trees for framing and the mountains looks so daunting. I perhaps would have liked the fourth peak to the left within the frame, but no real problem.

wonderful, colourful and clear picture.Beautiful.

A beautiful place. I have not been to Canada, but sometimes when I see landscapes of the country I recall a thought of one Russian man:
"Canada is what Russia could be if we didn't mess everythig up".

very nice view here karen :)
good that you included the 2 trees on the sides, they form a nice frame for the rest of the scenery

good colors and contrast :)

Another great shot, Karan. Beautiful place.

Fantastic colours Karan. Your composition creates a nice sense of depth. The tree in the right side holds the viewer's eye inside the frame. The diagonal line of the mountains makes it more dynamic.

Joe

Wow - the two trees that stand proud on either side of this photo frame it beautifully - a composition masterpiece. Great job!
