A super macro shot of a bee. We can see its eye and yellow fur. The macro technique I used (reversed lens) implies extremely short DOF which creates the blur around the eye. This kind of macro setup is very hard to manipulate but can create stunning effects.
Tech: shot in RAW with a 50mm 1.8 lens reversed on a 70-300mm lens. Normal post processing : Curves, cropped, framed. |
