Hallo Niek.
Daken zijn meestal rood, maar deze kleur is zeer bijzonder en doet het erg goed zo. Mooi compositie tegen een blauwe hemel die eigenlijk nog een klein wit wolke nodig had.

Hoi niek, dit is weer een juweeltje hoor..
Ik vind de kleuren van het dak en de lucht goed op elkaar aansluiten. maar ik ben nog meer onder de indruk van het lijnenspel in deze compositie.

Misschien had een liggende foto meer daarvan kunnen laten zien.

Well, I was there too. So how come I didn't think to take a shot like that???? huh??? It's really nice Niek. Now that I think about it...the last time I was at the Prince of Wales Hotel the wind was so strong it blew me off my feet in the parking lot! Perhaps I wasn't thinking about photography...Then again, from that position, lying in the parking lot, I should have seen an interesting pov like this!!! This is really sharp with wonderful color saturation! You have a real knack for the more intimate compositions.

Quite a bit of polarizing on this one, Niek, but it does work to create a nice contrast between the dark blue sky and the green of the roof of this historic hotel. Nicely composed with the inversed V created by the gables. Well done!

P.S. Just back from Wyoming but I have not yet started sorting through the pictures I have taken...soon I will publish a few.
