[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was out for a little hike with my grandson and, as always, carrying my camera. I didn't have much time to do any serious stuff that required time and attention so I was just kind of getting some grab shots.

I noticed this very young maple tree growing right beside what is obviously a much older maple tree. I liked the juxtaposition and the colour so I captured the image.

It wasn't until I was writing this note did I realize that I was perhaps seeing myself and my grandson in those two trees. The young tree reminded me of my grandson standing beside me and the colour that he brings to my life.

Terrific work with the flash. Photo is beautiful, clear, contrasty, lot of details, very good color

Wonderful analogy between the leaves and trees and you and your grandson! Excellent rich colors, beautiful contrasts and textures that come out through the sharpness of the photo. I like the way the trunk on the right is cut off and the leaves can stand for themselves. Thanks for sharing!
