[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This isn't really in a prarie, I just liked the title. A broken down old house that I found sitting all along in a big field. It is sitting along aroad that is generally used for framland in that area... although nearby Brampton will soon be looking to build houses here.

PP: Levels, Curves, USM, Smart Sharpen, I used scale to entend the sky and right border.

The clouds create a dramatic aspect to this. Well seen and captured.

Wow, incredible shot. All seems to collapse, even the sky! Good shot.

a beautiful capture...i really like what you did with the clouds...it makes the openness of the "prairie" even more so...the colors and sharpness are quite sureal (almost too much)...did you happen to venture inside...you find the coolest things inside places such as this...this reminds me of the numerous farm houses i explored in the middle of north dakota this past summer (check out my gallery if interested)...peace***

The clouds are really beautiful, I always like them, the cirrus ones are my prefered.
A nice shot, well composed. The old house in the meedle gives a really good point.

I like how this image contrast the abandoned ruined house and the distorted (but beautiful) clouds. Great colours and sharpness. Great photo!

This looks surreal... Very effective handling of colors and clouds. Cheers!

wow!
saw your portfolio and this one is the winner in my opinion
the colours and the very low angle are beautiful
i think it needs more attention.

Hi Josh,

Well spotted, good composition, I like you PS but I am not sure about the sky. Overall a nice posting and TFS

Hi Josh

I love the framing of the shot giving dominance to the sky and placing the house in the corner gives a sinister feel. I bet this would look creepy in B&W. The PP work is well done

Hi Josh,
I love old buildings! This looks pretty nice under these awesome clouds...the top clouds have a surreal look about them. Contrast is a bit strong for my personal taste but still looks nice. I like how the house has a lean. Was some of this caused from wide angle? Title is very fitting. Nice shooting Josh.

Nice scene Josh and well presented from this low point of view, perfect for this nice sky above ! Well composed, good work !

Well spotted, Josh - what a great find for a photographer!
Your use of PP to emphasise the composition - extending the sky, as you say - is a great idea and it works beautifully. It adds drama to the shot.
Great metering, details, and saturation.
