Colored Windows
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French] |
Taken inside the Palais des congrès, Montreal (Quebec, Canada).
These windows are really colored that way...
I cropped the original to get this graphic effect given by crossing lines framed between opposite and complementary corners... |

I like the concept in this image, but the corners are way too much distracting in my opinion... I did a workshop which may be more explicit than explaining how I would have presented the image...
Anyway, good capture!
Like u had a colored filter. :) I agree that that black triagle is a bit distracting. Taking it at an angle might work.
Yes! My mother lived in Quebec for at least 20 years and she told me about this amazing building. Great perspective and I love the way the windows are running diagonally through the compo. Good use of lighting from what seems to be a gray sky.

I think both of them are interesting, original and workshop. The fact is that subject is very interesting, strong architecture lines mixed with colour glasses gives a very good result. The only chhance to improve could be playing with POV all the day trying with another composition or natural light, and focus could be slightly better as the grain.
Well done !!
