This morning, when I was walking in "Les Sentiers de la Presqu'Île" in Le Gardeur, an observer perched well high was watching me discreetly and silently but with splendid piercing eyes. We watched each other for at least ten minutes which gave me time to take several pictures. It was really impressive to see this splendid great grey owl turning his head 180 degrees to the left and to the right in order to watch his backs. Then, delicately, he start flying and disappeared in the wood.

Nice one I like the eyes they are very piercing..I like the visual imapact of the framing of this portrait. Grey tones work well stark but life is there.

Superbe photo. Le seul commentaire que je me permettrai est que j'aurais conservé le piqué de la branche sur laquelle la chouette est perchée.
Hello Alain, I have just found this beautiful shot of yours;the owl seems to be coming out of my screen, it is so 3 dimensional. It could be the light in the b/g or the light shining on the owl, whichever, it makes a great picture. You were so lucky to get the chance to take this shot!
TFS, regards Jean.
