During the winter I took photos of many things around the house in an attempt to prove to myself that I didn't need to go out into the freezing Saskatchewan winter to take interesting photos.
One of my most favourite items in my house is a wrought iron candle holder that hangs on the wall in my bedroom (I have kind of a wrought iron theme going on in there).
The angle just seemed right for this one and I am glad that I desaturated to change to B&W. I like the way that it brought out the texture in the holder.
It's been a while but the only post process on this was the "erasing" of a small hole in the wall, desaturation, rotation and the addition of the border. |
