Weather is the same here... but they SAY Monday snow.. Happy the kids have the day off:)

Nice light and vibrant colors. An excellent scene to behold. Shot looks a tad soft, most likely due to small aperature and 1/30 shutter speed. All things considered, a nice composition.

Hi John - You keep improving, no stopping you. The emotions you touch with this picture - a beautiful sunset, but more than that. How? I don't know. Part of the reason may be the gorgeous golden orange colour under a partially blue evening sky; then there are those silhouettes. It's simply dreamlike. So well done. And thank you for sharing. Hi John
A nice winter landscape with the sun peeking through the trees. A winter sky as I call it, colourful yet cold looking. Nicely composed with the trees on each side and I especially like the drifts of snow in the foreground with the sun glistening off them. This is a beautiful shot.

I think Montreal has snow now...the eastern Canada has been battered lately with both snow and ice.

A beautiful scene John, with wonderful colour and sharpness and just the beauty of the natural surroudings makes this shot special. It's quite amazing to see a nature shot like this in a urban area like St.Jean's road, Pointe Claire. I guess you were right on Lakeshore Drive when you took this. I used to live further north off St.Jean's road near the Trans Canada highway, before we moved over the border to Ontario. So it is good memories for me.
