*Wisdom*
Wisdom is the ability, developed through experience, insight and reflection, to discern truth and exercise good judgment.

Wisdom is sometimes conceptualized as an especially well developed form of common sense.

A standard philosophical definition says that wisdom consists of making the best use of available knowledge.

Universities and collages are the big gateways to acquire knowledge and information.
They are the great source of learning of art, culture, science etc.

The University of Toronto was founded as King’s College in 1827 and has evolved into a large and complex institution.

It now occupies three campuses: Scarborough and Erindale and the historic St. George campus.

What fascinated to me from this University is the mix of ancient Victorian Style architecture mixed with the modern brick architecture.

Even though it is wonderful mix of old and new, I tempted to have more pictures of *Victorian style architecture* of this campus.

What I enjoyed most in this campus are the different styles of windows and entrances constructed using Victorian style.

Toronto, a place to * broaden your horizon *

Thanks and by

Vandana

Hello Vandana,
This is an excellent composition and I like the result with the transition of the light from clear, dark and the back to clear. The inside look so warm.
Greetings.
Luc

Hello Vandana,
Oh, I love those notes and this picture of course. What a great perspective that you captured here :) Both pictures (WS) are impressive by their POV, DOF and composition. This is well done and again, I enjoyed reading your wise notes ;) Thanks,
Claudine

Hi Vandana,

A great architectural photo!! Indeed it combines the old with the new, the colour with the B&W! The title is suited really well!

Hi Vandana

Good use of the fg arch as a framing device to encircle the bg scene. Excellent warm cold colour contrasts between the red & grey blue. Tfs!

Well done!

I like the succession of light and shadow.
Very clear and sharp with interesting colours.
Great gates with pretty big doors (the doors seem interesting too).

What a striking picture, Vandana! I am not going to look at the critiques you already received.... It looks like a archetype, or a rite of transition from one state to another. The interior is warm and inviting, one would want to stay and not continue with the journey.....
Cheers
Otto

Hi Vandana. A lovely image. Good colour and detail and very well composed. The Victorian architecture abounds here where I live with very few modern structures. TFS,
David
