Another of Diane's cup and saucer collection.
This one is a Rosina Fine Bone China 1.

This time, used the white cotton fabric as a BG.
A 13W neon bulb on each side of the tent.

Cropped a bit off the sides (why do I feel like a barber :-]), resized and framed.

And now that I look at it, I find the interior could have been whiter. Oh well, next time.

Why thank you Pierre, don't mind if I do! Do you have camera hidden to spy on me??? I just sat down with my cup of tea to critique some photos!!! My cup is nowhere near as beautiful as this one!
Excellent photo, the colors, clarity and pov are on the mark, thanks for sharing!

Ummm English breakfast thanks Pierre, white, no sugar... LOL..

I can just see you running around making us all a cuppa tea...:-)

Very beautiful Pieree, and I can even see your reflection and the cameras in the gold of the cup!

Great work keep it up.

Kind regards
Dawn.

Very clear. Very sharp. Excellent control of light Pierre.

Salut Pierre

Pierre,
A much more dramatic cup and saucer set. This one has a much different feel than the last one. The black makes this one feel much more formal, almost as if even dishes that wear black are in formal wear...
I like the details inside of the cup but something doesn't feel quite right, by going to that severe of an angle, to show in interior details, it has caused you to lose some of the clarity and sharpness you normally have. I could be wrong, but it is as if the gold details on the cup, more on the saucer, are just slightly noisy but the high gloss could be causing a distortion. Wonderful use of your light box.
I have a tea pot that would be a good match to this that I got from my grandmother years ago.

hi Pierre;
This are fine China wonderfully captured by you...
good...selamlar

Hi Pierre,
that's a wonderful cup and a perfect presentation with pretty light and shadow.
Realy noble!
These cups are only made to look, not to drink?!? I also have an expensive tea-service from Russia/St.Petersburg. I love it but never had a single mouthful out of them ;-)
We are all crazy!!!
Thanks and greetings

Bonjour.
Encore une très belle tasse à thé dont les couleurs sont inversées par rapport à la première.
Décidement, tu vas pouvoir nous inviter tous à une Tea-party ...!

Bravo !

Another lovely light box shot. I am not sure that it would have been better with a whiter BG: that might have been a little too contrasty!
Excellent notes and composition

Hi Pierre,
This teacup has such a majestic tone to it. Your choice for the white bg really brings out the quality of this one. Again, excellent sharpness and details. Julie

I got a couple of these "Made in Occupied Japan" thingys...dusty...sitting on the shelf.... nice shot, Clear Clean Shot Pierre!

Well done Pierre perhaps a little more light may have whitened the interior but still and excellent shot. I think what many on TL should do is read a little about the camera before they comment. TFS,
David

Pretty tea cup! Nice sharpness and light.
Shelby

Great lighting on this one & I like the inside of the cup the way it is! Don
