Salut Pierre,
L'hiver est une bonne saison pour le rituel du thé! Quand le froid mord le bout du nez, c'est le temps d'éclairer la tente et de composer de jolies natures mortes pour comprendre la lumière. Ce que tu as très bien réalisé avec tes petites tasses de cérémonie. Un éclairage bien dosé permet une grande clarté des couleurs. Présentation originale. Bravo! Annie

Wow these are beautiful cups and saucers Pierre..

The colours are perfect..

I wonder if you had of placed them slightly different, say one cup and saucer slightly more forward of the other.. im sure you tried that, played round for ages no doubt.

Very nicely presented with your frame.

Ahh back to the clear sharp photos of the tea cups. This is more in line with what I expect to see from you. your wife must have quite a beautiful collection of cups and saucers. These two are some of the prettiest I have ever seen. I really like the bright bold colors of the two especially together and against the plain white BG. This is such a wonderful shot, I do have one idea, suggestion, take it as you will, when shooting the two sets together, try setting them on an angle, or on at a different height, it give the photo better flow and not to rigid. I was going to try to do a WS to show you what I mean but my PC is being bad and it won't let me do what I wanted to try. Bad computer!!

Great collections shown in these past few posts! Very nice and detailed shots - just handle carefully: if you ever break one of those while setting up....I shudder to think.....

Handling shadows gets tricky here, with one cup throwing a shadow on the saucer of the other. But it still works very well. Great notes, excellent details on the subjects and superb framing (a trick I have yet to learn)

J'aime bien tes études photographiques sous la tente ! : notre retour de vacance , je vais sans doute m'amuser à
me procurer le matéreil nécessaire à sa fabrication.

Une image claire , nette et précise . Et des tasses de collection en excellente condition! À manipuler avec soin certes, sinon Diane (^_^) t'invitera à photographier tes propres souvenirs .
