Soft shades of Blue and Green

This is a succulent from my garden. I thought the color of the leaves were so pretty and such interesting shapes. It seems the close view you get the nicer the pattern becomes.

I cropped this image to cut out the background which wasn't very nice to show off just the succulent. Then sharpned using Picasa Photo Editing program (as I'm not at home) It's great to play with a different Photo Editing Program.

great subject, great color and texture, thanks scott

I like this shot, the exposure, the depth and subtle color but I would like to see it with the center of interest at one of the 1/3 points in the frame.

Thanks for sharing.

Bill

never see a macro shot on this before, is very nice with the jade colour tone here.well shot good lenswork

Hello Janice,
I love these tones of colors and texture too. Details are very good and this drop of water is a plus. The image seems a little grainy to me. I wonder which ISO you used. This is a beautiful post anyway, simple but very effective. Thanks,
Claudine

Hello Janice,
There is a very good light, resulting in this good feeling of depth, almost 3D!
Textures and details are well captured, and the pale green seems to be very natural!
Well framed subject!

I do love the textures and shades and the composition is perfect.
Superb PoV and the sharpness of the details, right down to the bead of water at the plant's heart,: all are spot-on

Hola Janice,
Esta vez en español , ja, ja. me gusta mucho esta composición, con la planta llenando todo el recuadro, las formas y la diferente gama de verdes y azules. Muy bella.
