This was taken so long ago I can't remember exactly what year exactly, but somewhere between 2003-2005. I scanned it ages ago and am feeling too lazy to dig out the original to find the year.
I took it because of the size of the icicle stretching down pretty well a story and a half from the roof of this big old house. Although the subject matter isn't highly exciting, there was something about the quality of the light around the tree that I really liked. The contrast and brightness were boosted just a tiny bit, but that's all that was done to it. |

That really is a long icicle forming from the roof of the old house. Good choice for a vertical composition. The photo has scanned well. Don't worry about the date of the photo, at least you shared it with us. Well done.
