[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
While paddling around Emerald Lake in the Canadian Rockies my husband kept running us aground. For some reason he seemed to like nearly getting stuck in the tall marsh grasses on the edge of the glacier fed lake.

Very nice framing of the picture, and very beautiful skyline/mountain front. This looks like a very peaceful place to be (more so on water I am sure :))

It's beautifull! All is so green around! Relaxation is almost an obligation in a decorum like this! The red of his belt, is a good contrast with that red!

Hey, aren't you supposed to paddle along instead of taking his picture ? This is like people riding a tandem - very funny capture, Julie. And it is an excellent shot as well. Nice scenery, the red mae west contrasts very well with the surroundings. Thanks for sharing (TFS).

The dramatic view appears from the difference between the light here, infront, and far in the mountain on the right.

"M is for Mischievous" seems a fitting title for this photo. lol. You can see his impish grin even from behind. I love the sharpness of the grasses and his lifejacket stands out well in contrast.

Hi Julie, great composition with great colors. I would have been interesting to see his face, when he recognized he got stuck :-)
bye alex
