[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I saw this leaf that had been burried in snow all winter and as the snow had melted so much it was reveled. Since it was a maple leaf it reminded me of a typical Canadian scene.
I decided to copy and paste some of it's centre to create the "banners" on the sides and make the photograph resemble the Canadian flag.

Wonderful concept! I like that you kept this in browns and the idea of using snow for the white is also very Canadian!

My only minor concern was the edges that show up in the borders. I did a WS where I tried to remove them. Let me know what you think.
