I like this version better too, but it compliments the other one nicely. Very interesting seeing the two shots at different angles and different times. This one somehow makes it look colder. Well done.

beautiful light in the shot! I like the different textures in the snow and how you used the diagonals to create the space in your composition. Great crop.
