[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
These twigs were covered in ice after rain followed by cold of -29'C in Gopherville, Saskatchewan. They looked as if they were inside an icey pipe.

It was early in the morning, just after sunrise (about 09:30) the light was dim as the sun was trying to shine through the layers of cold air.

Most amazing! When I took the picture, my camera froze and the lens' setting rings would not move. I had to warm it inside my jacket, as the batteries were also not capable of driving the film advance motor. After repeated tries, I got, what I hoped, was a decent picture and this is the result.

Hi Dirk,
I think you got a great picture despite the conditions! It is simple, self-descriptive, with natural colors... Good job! Marta
