[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Last weekend's outing to Waterton Lakes National Park - a brillant day that later turned into stormy clouds. Hiking up to Blakiston Falls, we (Christan, son Otti and I) shot 400 pictures, so there is quite some sorting going on right now (and fighting over the computer).
Also, check the view from above the falls on TE here and on TN here.

For more pictures of the falls, I put a slide show together here

Technical stuff: I used curves and filters, as well as cloned out some blurred branches in the fg. View is uncropped. Downsized for TL.

Perhaps another PC maybe in order Otto :). Lovely! Hopefully when I am refreshed I can talk my wife into taking me to some nearby falls, not as dramatic as this but moving water anyway. Lovely colours, good light and excellent PP work. TFS,
David

Beautiful work Otto!
Two elements in the upper left and upper right thirds of the frame really make this shot - the reds and greens of the tree on the left, and that spectacular waterfall on the right!
The light, the sharpness, and the colours in that waterfall are just superb. You've done an amazing job here!
Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful shot. Love the look of the water & the light falling on it. You need to get more computers!

Excellent capture. Good sharpness, POV and details.

I enjoy that way it is present1 The angle is dangerously attractive... I grow near a barrage and it was a pleasre to jump in it's water and let the strong water let move you for a while... But i knew the place like my pocket. There... roc seems to be dangerous... But attactive anyway lol! Light is nice. I enjoy the relation with trees!
